Oh the things you will see at the U...
Only in the middle of my second class day here at the great University of Minnesota I realize the being conservative/republican/libertarian is definitely going to leave me at a disadvantage. Not only are there about half a dozen students around the quad area whoring themselves out to the "organization" known as Amnesty International (I'd come up with a more insulting thing to call them but whores will do for now) that if they catch me on a bad day I might be tempted to turn around and clock them (If I get asked if I want to take a survey on human rights about 10-20 more times I might just snap) there is a group openly promoting socialism as an "alternative". No that's not a joke people they even their own fucking website . Being a free-market capitalist is hard here. On the positive side there is someone coming to speak here on October 2nd (friday night at 7pm, not exactly ideal on a college campus) against the evils of socialism because the keynote speaker actually LIVED underneath an oppressive socialist regime. I suggest some of you read the link that I provided, to say that site is disturbing is an understatement. Don't get me wrong I believe in the 1st amendment and peoples right to say crazy shit but I feel that the irony is that if these socialist assholes ever did get in a position of power the 1st amendment would be one of the first things to go... wait, look whose in power in DC now... I'm not saying I'm just saying.
