Jackson trial ending
They will read the verdict at 3:30 pm CST. I will post once I hear it. I can only pray that he will get to have a chance to have Charles Mason as a closeby cellmate in the very near future. JACKSON IS GUILTY, they let a black guy off (OJ) and a white guy (Robert Blake) they will NOT let off a black guy that has turned white over the years.

And--here's the best part--in the grand scheme of things, Bengela--you're right there with the wingnuts in the crowd, screaming for Jackson's aquittal! He's innocent! We know he's innocent because he's rich! He's rich and powerful!
He's surrounded by powerful, intelligent advisors, and he's made a mockery of the law, and yet, throngs of people still crowd around him singing his praises. His handlers make sure that he doesn't hear the voices of dissent. Only those that share his particular, warped, twisted, bizzaro fantasy world are allowed near him.

Here's a clue, Sparky: most of us have tremendous senses of humor. It's just that it doesn't involve racial epithets, people getting hurt, or someone having sex with a cousin, a cow, or both.
Our jokes often have words with more than two syllables, so that may be another reason you don't understand them.
But here's a two-syllable word. I got it from my pal the Cranky Yankee, and it really describes you in a wonderful way:

(btw, I am not asking this in a confrontational manner ... I understand there's some "war of the blogs" thing going on, and I have zero interest in any of it) I'm just curious.
Oh I don't know maybe the fact that he has a trail record of sleeping with little boys. This verdict only proves how people can buy innocence. I do have to say that I was hoping against hope that they would convict him, that there was too much evidence stacked against him but I guess I was wrong; and balloon I may not agree with you much but on this case I do 100%. And I am so hurt by your personal attacks, way to be classy, I thought you were the guys that were supposed to take the high road. I guess not, besides the more you attack me personally the more affirmed I become in my beliefs, it's called Ad Hominum (thanks ZS) instead of attacking the issue you attack me. And I still stand by the fact that you people have no sense of humor.
also he wasn't found innocent, he was found NOT GUILTY! There's a difference, even the jury admits that he might have done what he was accused of doing. He was found not guilty as a result of reasonable doubt. The prosecution did a shit job proving their case, they screwed up almost as bad as the OJ prosecution. Blame the DA on this one, he had almost a slam dunk case and came up with nothing but air.

And danielle no I don't think he got off because he was black (he was an oreo, black on the outside white on the inside) OJ got off because he was smart and Johnny Cochran did an incredible job and the LAPD planted evidence on OJ WHEN THEY DIDN'T need to. Race might have had something to do with it, I mean he had an all black jury who "sympathized" with him. Also how dare you call me a fucking racist; some of my best friends are black and you know what? I can stand them more than I can stand some of my white friends dipshit.

Oh, and also: I never said he was innocent, Asshat. Neither did anyone else. I said he was aquitted. Paul pointed out that in this country one is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
And as far as attacking you as opposed to the issue: The issue is your prognostication skills, Asshat. And it's 'Ad Hominem' NOT 'Ad Hominum.' So in this instance, attacking you is in fact the issue. Say something you think is interesting and true and if I feel like devoting half my wit to it, I will debunk that too.

Ok dude, to begin with it is said those who accuse others only convict one. Besides who are you to say I'm racist? Outside of this blog you don't know me, Paul does and if he could come to my defense possibly he can attest that I'm not a racist. For the record, I'm not getting into this one because I'm totally indifferent about Michael Jackson. It would be as if someone asked me what brand of aspirin I used. I'd reply "the cheapest one."
