Book review, sort of...

I finished The Truth About Hillary: What she knew, when she nkew it, and how far she'll go to get back into the White House. A more accurate subtitle would be, "the book that will keep her from EVER becoming president." Which leads me into my next point. Despite a virtual media blackout it hit the NYT Bestseller lists again and despite the best efforts of the NYT trying to discredit the credibility of Klein and his book, and here's a good newsmax article on the topic

O'Reilly Blasts Times for 'Jihad' Against Hillary Author

Though Bill O'Reilly is no fan of the controversial new book "The Truth About Hillary," he has little doubt the New York Times is out destroy its author, Edward Klein.

Klein has been banned from O'Reilly's show because the Fox News star believes allegations made in the book are unsubstantiated and just too sensational.

Klein is former editor of the New York Times Magazine and former top editor at Newsweek. He was a media favorite until his latest biography, which offered a blistering portrait of Hillary Clinton, was published

However, on Monday night O'Reilly blasted the liberal Times for using its outlet to personally attack Klein.

O'Reilly noted that the New York Times has run more than 20 largely positive articles on the far left radio network Air America, which he said routinely smears people with whom it disagrees.

"So why the jihad against Ed Klein and his book?" O'Reilly asked his audience.

"The Times has run eight – count them, eight – negative spots about the project and Mr. Klein," O'Reilly said.

After introducing two guests – Jane Hall, a liberal Fox News contributor and journalism professor, and professor Jeff McCall, a communications professor at DePauw University – O'Reilly said he believes the paper uses "surrogates to smear people who they don't like."

O'Reilly complained that the Times recently published a flattering article about Air America host Al Franken.

"But then Klein comes out with a book that smears Hillary Clinton and they attack Klein, so I'm not getting the double standard here," he said.

"Every article contains a personal attack on Klein," he added.

"What I'm trying to get across is that the most powerful newspaper in the country uses surrogates to attack people they don't like, yet praises people like Air America, which is by far the most vicious of any media in this country ... yet they like that but they don't like Ed Klein. I'm not getting that."

"If you attack somebody the New York Times likes, such as Hillary Clinton, what the Times does is they are going to come after you. That's the message. That is what they do. And it's wrong."

Professor McCall said he was surprised by the Times coverage of the book and suggested that the Times may be intent to make Hillary Clinton into a "martyr figure."

Ah, the hypocricy of the left. I lost track but I think that this is week #5 of it being on the list. Despite their best efforts Al Franken's book only was on it for one. Now I am going to go watch Taxi Driver and Constantine. I'll review them later tonight since there's no other big news for now.

tell me where does he make up his nonsense? Besides it's no worse than the BCC, CNN, CBS, NBC, and their LIBERAL bias. Yes Danielle, god forbid there is a conservative voice on tv, now there is someone standing in your way to make the world socialist :(
