you know what pisses me off?
Rant time again. Ok, now most (if not all) of you realize that I have absolutely no time for the people that bash our military. Before I go onto say why I'll give you a little background. My grandpa (who recently died) was in WWII and got shot in the leg in the Battle of the Bluge. He obviously got a purple heart. My mom's sister's husband (my uncle) was in the military from 1971-1991. Very smart, courageous guy. And finally my cousin's husband is an ex-Navy guy. So I have a little family history. And you know what? I am immensely proud of all 3 of them, you won't see me saying a bad word about them. They have my upmost respect. Now onto the military bashers. The main defense they use is freedom of speech. I do believe these retarded jackasses have a right to bash the military that gives them the right to bash them (you might want to read that again) but that doesn't mean I like it. I think that if you are ashamed of and bash our great military you can get the fuck out of the country. No one's forcing you to stay, if you bash them they'll still protect you but I don't think they should be forced to. I know this is going to get a lot of comments so I'll end this now and respond to the bashers in the comments. One last thing, you can't support the military while not supporting their cause (i.e. support the troops BUT bring them home, puhleeze).

Good god, no. I'm just saying you have a right to not support the troops or their mission but please don't tell me you do, it's hypocritical bullshit.
please don't tell me you do when you don't really, I mean.
yea, that's a tough one, but it's still kinda hypocritical for them to say that. But I could respect that stance.
I am one of those who supports the troops. I don't, however, support why they are in Iraq. It's pretty cut and dry that more and more is found out each day which appears to have misled government officials, knowingly or unknowingly, into a war that had no basis. I do not say this blindly either as one of my best friends is stationed in Iraq and going out on daily missions where they face booby-trapped cars and danger at every turn. I respect him and his counterparts but not the poorly concocted reason as to why our troops are there.
