not again....

Well Europe has experienced another suicide attack now in Moscow (there have been 2 in London back in 2005 one in Madrid in 2004 and one previous one in Moscow in feb 2004 that I had forgot about until reading the article linked below). I am still stunned that this has not happened yet in the US but has happened a handful of times in Europe, kind of makes you think that whatever we are doing is working (over here at least) doesn't it. Here's the catch this time; apparently there were 2 suicide bombers but reports are that they were female. This can mean multiple things depending on how you view this; either they are running out of recruits or they are starting to include women to make it more difficult to profile them. I really hope its the former and not the latter because if this is a new strategy it's really scary.

And here's a bit of irony for you and me, guess what this week is here at the U of M...? Islam Awareness week, can you say bad fucking timing? I will be aware all right but not for the "right" reason.
