Here's an idea, lets invade the senate and put REAL people in...

Yea extreme I know but these dipshits just voted against more border agents to protect our southern border AFTER the House passed it 333-91 or something like that.
Notable:

1) Arizona senators McCain and Kyl voted YES

2) Both New Mexico senators voted YES (one is a Democrat)

3) Both Texas senators voted YES

4) Both California senators vote NO

If you have been expending your life energy to fight illegal immigration, yesterday the United States Senate wiped their butts with it. Hey jackasses lets get you out of office you elite bastards. Come on you morons were elected to do the WILL OF THE PEOPLE, not your own personal agenda. Here's the full list of Senators that should be commended (not praised) for being sane and doing what an overwhelming majority of Americans want to see, more border agents.

62 Senators that don't care about YOUR safety. 43 democrats 19 republicrats (thanks Savage). Democrat or Republican I don't care I want people to demand answers from these idiots that put their personal agenda above your safety. This is unbelieveable. The most disappointing one on this list for me is Coleman, he got in because the DFL here screwed up after Wellstone died and now he stabs this state in the back. Thanks Norm, you have made another enemy, I'm going to make sure you don't even get our parties nomination in 2008. You backstabbing bastard.

I hate Feinstein with a passion. Probably the worst Senator there (even worse than Clinton). Unfortunately, she has millions and it's so hard to oust someone with that much money.

try finding someone that wants to start a grassroots campaign and all the fienstein haters will come out in droves ZS.

I'm pretty serious about running for Congress. Not yet though, can't afford it just yet. As I said before, it will be on 3 things mainly - stopping illegal immigration, protecting gun rights, and protecting open space for the outdoors people instead of make the whole state suburbs and strip malls. Those are my main issues and of course 1 and 3 overlap, as I've been telling Paul.

ZS, I would be more than happy to give you a grant to do it, obviously once I get the money. 2 questions though, #1 how big is the district you live in and #2 would you stand a chance in hell against the incumbent? I'm going out on a limb here and saying he/she is a left-wing nut.

I wouldn't do it here (in a small town in Northern California). I have no idea where I'll be living five years from now, when I'll probably be able to afford a run, but I'm pretty sure it's not here.

There's a good chance it will be in Santa Barbara where it will be against
Lois Capps
. Her website has a blank Issues session so of course, we can't know what she believes in. I do know that she's hard-core anti-gun and soft on illegal immigration, so I'd love to defeat her. She's a nice woman in person though, but she's one of those misguided idealists.

ZS, here's what you should do (I am in the long-term process of doing it) starting in the 2006 election cycle. Find people who you like and get involved in their campaign and god-willing they will win, even if they don't they owe you. So by the time you run you can cash in your "debts" and hopefully get a lot of people to return the favor you did for them. I have the advantage of starting young so by the time I will decide to run for state office I will have a lot of people that owe me favors. Of course you have to be willing to invest a lot of time to do this. It will probably be worth it in the long run though.
