The vile left...

Sometimes even I am stunned at some things that liberals do. This article on Wonkette mocking Trig Palin's disability and insulting Sarah Palin is wayyy over the top. They have been trying to scrub the comments as much as possible (some people said some pretty vile things) but someone saved it ongoogle. Here are a few of those gems (I am not making these up I promise, I couldn't even if I wanted to)

Where's his IQ test?

[Damn, I actually feel bad making fun of a developmentally disabled toddler. I guess I do have some shame. Not enough to stop me from hitting post, though.]

How is Triggy formed?

It puts the penis in the moosepit or it gets the hose again.

Boy, are you guys gonna get a lot of shit for this.

(Well done.)

The look-I-didn't-abort-this-retard prop baby named after Roy Rogers' horse. Poor little Trigger got dragged to every possible campaign event in 2008, no matter whether it was time for him to be in bed or not.

And finally here's an updated classic liberal apology/non-apology

UPDATE: I regret this post and using the word “retarded” in a reference to Sarah Palin’s child. It’s not nice, and is not necessary, but I take responsibility for writing it. For those who came and are offended by this post: I’m sorry, of course. But I stand by my criticism of Sarah Palin using her child as a political prop.

translation: I'm sorry your offended by what I said but I don't care

Good News, they are losing advertisers left and right

Can you imagine if a Republican did this to a Democrat...

It would be all over the news, here's the story.

Last Friday.... after the Assembly voted to engross the Budget Repair Bill, Hintz turned to a female colleague, Rep. Michelle Litjens and said: "You are F***king dead!"
New tone, indeed. Will he be held accountable?

** UPDATE: Hintz is apologizing.

An Oshkosh Assemblyman apologized to a colleague Monday for comments he made on the floor of the Assembly last week immediately following a vote on a contentious budget repair bill.
Rep. Gordon Hintz, D Oshkosh, apologized to Rep. Michelle Litjens, R-Winneconne, for shouting out an obscenity that included the words “you’re dead” that Litjens and other witnesses heard in the chaotic scene after Republicans approved the bill.

Litjens said she accepted the apology, but has asked the Assembly leadership to discipline Hintz.
*
Obvious exit question: would Hintz have apologized or even acknoledged the comment if I had not broken the story on my show/blog this morning?
Full story and comments here. But thats not the best part of the story, he was busted for prostitution earlier in the WEEK!

State Rep. Gordon Hintz was issued a municipal citation in Appleton earlier this month for violating a city sexual misconduct ordinance.
Appleton police said the citation was issued Feb. 10 in conjunction with an ongoing investigation of Heavenly Touch Massage Parlor, 342 W. Wisconsin Ave., in Appleton. Police searched the business and a nearby residence in the 1300 block of North Division Street Jan. 28, after investigators had staked out the properties for several days after receiving a tip.

Obama: If Americans are smart they will vote Democrat...

Did he say that exactly? Well no, but it was definitely implied. This was from Mark Knolls (CBS news bitch, I mean reporter) tweet about an hour ago.

".Obama believes that if voters really understand the choice before them, Dems will retain control of the House. "

So if you are a moron go out and vote Republican people! I mean wow, they really don't get it. Can you imagine if Bush said something equivalent to this in 2006? This is too perfect. If you didn't think liberals were elitest before you should now.

More liberal tolerance

It's funny, my friend Mitch Berg, yes the shotinthedark.info Mitch Berg, has his own list of laws when it comes to liberals, sports, etc. There is one, however, that stands out on almost a daily basis. It is starting to become known simply as "Berg's 7th" throughout the MOBosphere
and here it is:
Berg’s Seventh Law of Liberal Projection - When a Liberal issues a group defamation or assault on conservatives’ ethics, character or respect for liberty, they are projecting.
Oh and FYI this was a law WAY BEFORE there was anything even close to being a tea party. Which in reality only strengthens his thesis.

So today I find this story on DrudgeReport because lord knows the MSM wouldn't pick this up.

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Tens of thousands of people across the Bay Area turned out in protest of Arizona's tough new immigration law. The demonstrations went on all day and some stretched into the night.

In San Jose, thousands of marchers headed to an evening rally at city hall. In San Francisco, a separate demonstration wrapped up in the afternoon, but not without a bit of trouble.

Three people were attacked and at least two others were arrested. The people assaulted were part of the Minutemen demonstration, a group in favor of Arizona's new immigration law.
They said a large group of immigrants' rights supporters followed them to the BART station on Market Street and started punching and kicking them, and calling them names.
"They said we were racists, and we were against them, and against their town, and against San Francisco," said Parker Wilson with the Bay Area National Anarchists. "What they were saying, they said we need to get out and called us racists, and that we need to go home. And then they just attacked my friends and me."

Those arrested will likely be charged with felony assault and robbery. In the meantime, the rest of the rally got vocal but not physical. Emotions divided the street in front of city hall at Civic Plaza. There were those who support Arizona's immigration law and those who do not.

It was the focus of this May Day, commonly known as "International Workers Day."

"We hope with this march they hear us and get something done," Ramon Hernandez with Liuna Local told ABC7.

Similar rallies took place over the nation Saturday. Immigrants' rights groups hope the Arizona law, which was amended Friday night, will be over turned. The updated version makes racial profiling illegal and an officer can question an immigrant's status only after that person is stopped for another crime and not just because he or she looks suspicious.

"I don't think it's going to stop law enforcement from stopping anybody who looks like an immigrant or has the color brown," said San Francisco resident Erle Woo.

Francisco Perez is in the U.S. illegally and worries that Arizona's law could spread to California.

"I think it should stop completely," he said.

As hundreds of people marched through the Mission with their message, a group of Minutemen waited for them at Civic Center Plaza with different message.

"Immigrants are draining our welfare system. They are draining our school system, the judicial system," Elizabeth Kelly with Golden Gate Minutemen told ABC7.

They support legal immigration.

"Nobody is trying to make this a Nazi police state or anything," said Minutemen member Steve Kemp. "That's not what it's about. What it's about is giving police the authority to be able to question people if they're in this country illegally."

But, Andres Balkan of San Francisco believes, "Minute Men is a neo-Nazi organization."

The Minutemen were dramatically out numbered. Police had to move their opponents back and tighten security. The Minutemen let their signs do the talking.

Police say they had no other problems and no other arrests at the rally.

At the height of the march in San Jose, the stream of people stretched for nearly ten blocks. Most of them were demanding that President Obama tackle immigration reform immediately.

As in other locations, marchers in San Jose said that because of the events in Arizona, the usually-spirited May Day march was bigger and more energized.

"I think yeah, it helped a lot," said Karina Gudino. "Every year, people come but this year, even more I think, because of the Arizona law. They're all against it because it's really a racist law."

"It's just really stupid, what is happening," Vicky Delarenal said. "I think this country is made of immigrants and I think again, we just need to keep fighting for this. That's why I'm here, just to support the people."

In the East Bay, demonstrators at a May Day rally near the Fruitvale BART station said this year's event took on added significance because of the new Arizona law.

"We feel it's going to be racist and discriminatory to the immigrant population, particularly to the Latino population, but actually for all immigrants, because the undocumented population in this country comes from all over the globe," said protestor Lillian Galedo

About 200 demonstrators also marched through Fremont in protest of the illegal immigration crackdown.

People who oppose what is happening in Arizona are angry and loud, but they are in the minority. Polls show the majority of people in America support Arizona's new law.

Tolerant my ass.

Oh noes, Apple boycotting Glenn Beck!

As if I needed another reason to hate Apple, now they have apparently done a "protest" of Fox News because of Glenn Beck. God forbid, because what will Glenn Beck and Fox News do without all that Apple money now? This could be a great marketing tool for Gates if he really wants to stick it to Jobs; it could be a killer commercial. This is from Bigjounralism.com

The Politically Correct Boycott Corp is on the march again! If the show doesn’t fit within your political agenda, then just boycott it and try to “shut up dissent.” According to the Washington Post, around two hundred companies are now boycotting Glenn Beck.
When a journalist who gets great ratings is being attacked for doing what he does (as in the case of Glenn Beck) by those who scream about Freedom of Speech and high journalism, it’s like they have an “I’m with Stupid” tattoo punched into their foreheads. Aren’t progressives the same people who think it is okay to decry every alleged “impropriety” by conservatives while hiding behind the guise of “free speech” for themselves? Is it somehow less appropriate for Glenn Beck to espouse his opinions? Why? Because he might be onto something, and his ratings are high?
Newsflash! Beck is but a reflection of an entire mass of people who believe what he has the platform to say! They aren’t going away. In fact, they are growing in spades!
Fox News executives know that if they let advertisers bully them into booting Beck, he will get another job, and advertisers will next be pressured to abandon O’Reilly or Hannity to try to censor them. Why would they make such a self-defeating, bad business decision?
Liberal companies are all upset because Beck “called Obama a racist” and progressivism “a cancer.” Though it bears no comparison to what less successful journalists have said about Palin, Bush, and other conservative icons and their families, it does beg a question—who decided they get to decide what is appropriate? Moreover, if they make Beck go away do they really believe his followers will just go back to their political obscurity? He speaks for millions!
Why can’t the crybaby liberals who are so used to having it their way for so long realize that times have changed? If you take away our mouthpiece, more of us will rise up and find platforms to say what Beck was saying. If you take Beck away, he becomes more of a hero to those who sense a therapeutic affect when tuning into his show. And if you pull your product from advertising, they stop buying your product.
(I will, in fact I will post that list of 200 companies who are boycotting Beck)
At least they are consistent. They boycotted John Mackey of Whole Foods because he publicly expressed his opposition to elements of Obamacare last year. So free-market loving patriots did what they could do and responded with a BUYcott, spending 50,000 dollars in one night at one store in St. Louis, Missouri. The idea spread all over the country, and Whole Foods stock went up.
On the other hand, if Apple and the other 199 notable companies take exception to a journalist as popular as Beck, on a station as powerful as Fox News, they may not fare so well.
Will the Tea Party launch a BUYcott of Beck and the already popular Fox News? They just might! If conservatives built the Fox News that is dominating now by default, can you imagine what they could do if they put in a little effort? Did you see the crowds at last weekend’s Tea Parties? Now imagine that they become the network and journalistic “king makers.”
With Oprah tanking and all networks except Fox News battling for ratings and audiences, maybe Apple ought to consider buying Beck his own network for those who think Fox News gets a little squishy now and then? They could call it BeckNet, and they could have sole rights to advertise on their station. That might be the best marketing tack they could take. If not, conservatives will probably be content to look ahead to the scent of rotting apples wafting through the newly renovated office suite of Mr. Beck, while he opens his computer with a boyish grin and sells a million PC’s that day. Which computer maker’s pitchman will look like an inept geek then?

You'd think that would be amazing enough, but wait there's more! (and a big thank you to Big Journalism and Andrew Breitbart, who is fast becoming the next Matt Drudge)

“More than 200 companies have joined a boycott of (Glenn) Beck’s program,” reports the Washington Post. “A handful of advertisers, such as (IPhone owner) Apple, have abandoned Fox altogether.” We can only assume this Apple “boycott” was prompted by what CBS’s Katie Couric (quoting the Fox commentator’s critics) describes as Beck’s “inflammatory, unfair, despicable, hateful rhetoric.”

This same hyper-sensitive-to-hate-speech Apple, by the way, has just launched an IPhone application featuring Che Guevara’s quotes. Yes! “Now you can carry around Che Guevara’s quotes on your IPhone!"

Viva la revoloucion (I'm sorry, I couldn't resist)

Alas, many of us, though not customers of this unquestionably hip product, suspect that most of Che Guevara’s hippest quotes are missing from this hippest of IPhone apps. Among those we fear were overlooked by the hyper-sensitive-to-hate-speech, Apple are:

The Negro is indolent and spends his money on frivolities and booze, whereas the European is forward-looking, organized and intelligent.

My nostrils dilate while savoring the acrid odor of gunpowder and blood… Crazy with fury I will stain my rifle red while slaughtering any surrendered enemy that falls in my hands! With the deaths of my enemies I prepare my being for the sacred fight and join the triumphant proletariat with a bestial howl!

(This is from Che’s own diaries, later immortalized as The Motorcycles Diaries, though we note that executive producer Robert Redford “overlooked” this unquestionably dramatic citation for his movie.)

Hatred as the central element of our struggle… Hatred that is intransigent… Hatred so violent that it propels a human being beyond his natural limitations, making him violent and cold- blooded killing machine… We reject any peaceful approach. Violence is inevitable. To establish Socialism rivers of blood must flow. The victory of Socialism is well worth millions of atomic victims!

Thus spaketh the icon of the flower children.

The U.S. is the great enemy of mankind! Against those hyenas there is no option but extermination! If the nuclear missiles had remained (in Cuba) we would have fired them against the heart of the U.S. including New York City!

And this:

Don’t Shoot! I’m Che! I’m worth to you more alive than dead!

These famous last words were whimpered with a Eddie Haskell-in-front-of June Cleaver-esque smile on Oct. 8, 1967 in Quebrada de Yuro, Bolivia, as Che dropped his fully-loaded weapons. At the time, Che, dragging along his guerrilla charge, Willi, was trying to slink away from a firefight when confronted by two Bolivian soldiers.

That’s a grand total of exactly two flunky Communist guerrillas facing two Bolivian soldiers, by the way. But then, Che’s bloodthirsty bluster always had a habit of evaporating when facing men (or boys) capable of defending themselves. His stock-in-trade was blasting their skulls apart from five feet while they were bound and gagged. Amazingly, Steven Soderbergh and Benicio del Toro overlooked any depictions of such guaranteed drama in their recent movie.

More of Che’s Greatest Hits:

“Mexicans are a rabble of illiterate Indians.” (Note the Che Guevara banners and T-shirts at Nation of Aztlan gatherings.)

“Bolivian campesinos are simply Animalitos“ (Note Bolivian President Evo Morales’ frequent genuflections to the ghost of Che Guevara and to his puppeteer, Fidel Castro.)

“Youth must refrain from ungrateful questioning of governmental mandates. Instead they must dedicate themselves to study, work and military service. The very spirit of rebellion is reprehensible. (“Che is our fifth band member!” says Rage Against the Machine’s Tom Morello)

Che the Lionhearted’s image indeed belongs on college campuses. But it’s usually in the wrong places. He belongs in the marketing, PR, advertising –and especially — psychology departments. His lessons and history are fascinating and valuable, but only in light of Sigmund Freud or P.T. Barnum. “One born every minute,” Mr. Barnum? If only you’d lived to see the Che phenomenon. Actually, ten are born every second.

Here’s a “guerrilla hero” who in real life never fought in a guerrilla war. When he finally brushed up against one, he was routed and surrendered while a sniveling, whimpering wreck.

Here’s a cold-blooded murderer who executed thousands without trial, who claimed that judicial evidence was an “unnecessary bourgeois detail,” who stressed that “revolutionaries must become cold-killing machines motivated by pure hate,” who stayed up till dawn for months at a time signing death warrants for innocent and honorable men, whose office in La Cabana had a window where he could watch the executions – and today his T-shirts adorn people who oppose capital punishment!

Here’s a humorless teetotaler, a plodding paper-pusher, a notorious killjoy and all-around fuddy-duddy – and you see his T-shirt on MTV’s Spring Break revelers! Perhaps competent psychologists (if any exist) will explain this some day.

Che excelled in one thing: mass murder of defenseless men. He was a Stalinist to the core, a plodding bureaucrat and a calm, cold-blooded – but again, never in actual battle – killer. Che’s true legacy is simply one of terror, murder and sniveling cowardice.

Apple, we trust, will soon become as sensitive to torture and mass-murder by the Stalinist who craved to incinerate the nation that headquarters their office and facilitates their profits, as they claim to be over a few wisecracks by Fox commentators.

Yea suddenly I don't desire to run out and get another iPod but probably will since I have all my shit on iTunes anyway, maybe I could find a cheap one online.

Special Ed has a slip...

Seriously if they didn't have the audio of this moronic rant I wouldn't have believed even Ed Schultz could say something so fucking stupid. Liberals are their own worst enemy, to a certain extent I wish more of them would talk like this as opposed to just think and act while saying they believe in capitalism. Hey Ed, I heard Michael Moore needs a new intern.

Ed Schultz Freudian slip

Apparently on Friday Ed Schultz said this on his radio show...

Oh my, I need to start pulling some stuff from "If its not close they can't cheat" by Hugh Hewitt. Spread this EVERYWHERE

Rush limbaugh in hospital, left shows its class

You know how we on the right are always accused of "hate-speech" and being intolerant to other views while the left says they are open-minded and tolerant? Yeah... these are comments directly from DailyKos.com Rush Limbaugh's thread. Note I haven't edited a damn thing, don't believe me? Look at the fucking link yourself...

weird that Republicans have been seething at Obama's vacation spot, even though he was born there, when Limbaugh was also there. Karma is something. What a way to point out their hypocrisy because we all know the media would not have touched on that point if he hadn't taken ill.

do they make a coffin big enough ?
too soon ???..........

Couldn't have happened to a nicer person!
good luck with that you fat bastard!

no tears will be shed here.

We see this repeatedly on DK when right-wingers pass away (evil Tony Snow, anyone, who helped lie us into a godforsaken and illegal war?).

So if Adolf Hitler were to die today would we see a bunch of RIP diaries and "our heart should go out to his friends and family"?

There are in fact evil, despicable people out there. When and only when we've mourned the passing (or consoled with the misfortunes) of, e.g. all the innocent Iraqi victims of this war -- after I see those 500,000 diaries or so, then we can start thinking about horrid evil dishonest hypocrite greedy pond scum like Rush.

I have occasion to work in hospitals and I assure you there are far more worthy people to worry about than Limbaugh, whose ill-gotten gains no doubt get him the finest and most expensive health care.

I'm just happy that millions will suffer less because his racist, hateful voice won't be inspiring white supremacists to hate on minorities while he recovers.

and thats just scratching the surface
